Vesper Stamper will draw you in with her wit and charm into a world of ink and words. She is a trained illustrator who took to writing stories about her pictures, ending up with two full novels. Her latest, A Cloud of Outrageous Blue, is a beautiful story of a girl during the Black Plague looking to find herself. It is fully illustrated and had me thinking that more adult novels need pictures.
